


Pathway from Seneca Polytechnic to ¸£Àû¼§
Graduates of the two-year diploma program at Seneca Polytechnic may be considered for admission to ¸£Àû¼§ in one of the Faculty of Arts and Science Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree programs. This pathway allows LAT graduates to continue their post-secondary education at Queen’s University and earn an Honours degree, providing they meet the eligibility and admissions requirements.

Arts Programs
The Faculty of Arts and Science at ¸£Àû¼§ offers an abundance of Arts program options across our 30+ Departments and Schools. The Faculty of Arts and Science offers an extraordinary scope of educational possibilities encompassing the creative arts, languages, humanities, social sciences, and more.

Program Admission Requirements
In addition to a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (B or 70%), in order to be admitted in to a program in the Faculty of Arts and Science, students must satisfy all program specific admission requirements (some programs may require a higher GPA, or have specific course requirements). Eligibility
The following criteria must be met in order for a student to be eligible for the Seneca LAT pathway at ¸£Àû¼§.
- Students must be enrolled in the LAT program at Seneca
- Students must complete all requirements of the LAT program to receive the Ontario College Diploma from Seneca with a CGPA of 3.0 (B) to qualify for admission into second year in the Bachelor of Arts program at Queen’s University
Note: After completing semester one and two of the Liberal Arts University Transfer program at Seneca, students may apply to Queens to take up to six units of Queens courses while pursuing their Liberal Arts diploma at Seneca. Students are eligible to receive up to 42 credits towards the Queens Bachelor of Arts degree with these additional courses. To be eligible to take Queens courses while completing the Liberal Ats diploma at Seneca, students must have completed all first and second semester courses and have an overall GPA of at least 3.0. Seneca graduates with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 who do not complete additional Queens courses prior to graduation will be eligible for up to 36 credits towards a Bachelor of Arts at Queens.
Application Process
Domestic and international students must apply through as Arts-Upper Year Entry students to pathway into an Honours Bachelor of Arts program. Although there is an application fee, all Seneca transfer students are automatically considered for an entrance scholarship. The application deadline for a Fall start is May 31, 2025.
Transfer Credits
Credit for credit transfer will be offered to qualified students who have:
- Been accepted to the transfer pathway,
- Completed the LAT program and are eligible to receive their diploma and,
- Been admitted as transfer students from the LAT Program at Seneca in to the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen's.
