Presented at the Global Forum on Higher Education: Renewal of Democratic and Civic Mission hosted by Charles University and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic in Prague, June 3 – 4, 2025.

The Forum, organized in collaboration with the Council of Europe and the International Consortium for Higher Education, Civic Responsibility, and Democracy, and partners such as the International Association of Universities and the Organization of American States, provides a much-needed space for discussions about the shared experiences and responsibilities of the academy.
