Honouring the Word Warriors: Free Public Reading

You are invited to a free public reading event by 11 award-winning Indigenous writers, including Jeannette Armstrong, Marilyn Dumont, Louise Halfe, Tomson Highway, Armand Garnet Ruffo, Drew Hayden Taylor, Nicola Campbell, Liz Howard, Conor Kerr, Emily Riddle, and Joshua Whitehead. Queen's Chancellor Shelagh Rogers will open the evening with a welcome, and Queen’s National Scholar of Indigenous Literary Arts Marshall Hill and Queen's English PhD candidate Tina Munroe will moderate the event.
The event will be held at the Isabel Bader Centre for Performing Arts (390 King St W, Kingston, ON, K7L 2X4). Doors open at 6:00pm. Reception and book sales to follow. Free parking is available on-site. No registration is required to attend.
